Improve Your Smile With Comprehensive Dental Crown and Bridge Services

Crowns and bridges play a pivotal role in modern dental care, offering both cosmetic and functional benefits that can significantly impact your quality of life. We offer top-of-the-line restorations that suit various needs and preferences. Whether you’re looking to address cosmetic concerns or functional impairments, our dental solutions are designed to deliver lasting results and satisfaction.

Your restorative options include:

  • Dental Crowns for Repair – Ideal for restoring a tooth that has been broken, worn down, or severely decayed, crowns bring back strength, functionality, and appearance.
  • Traditional Dental Bridges – A time-tested solution for replacing one or more missing teeth, bridges help maintain facial structure and reduce the risk of teeth shifting.
  • Implant-Supported Bridges – Offering superior stability and longevity, these bridges are anchored by mini dental implants for unmatched comfort and performance. Since the bridge is attached to implants, there is no need to do anything to any nearby healthy teeth.
  • Inlays and Onlays – These restorations offer a conservative approach to repairing teeth with mild to moderate decay or damage. They preserve more natural tooth structure than a full crown.

We take pride in using the finest materials in our restorations, including zirconia and occasionally gold, to ensure the best esthetics and durability. With our state-of-the-art Trios intraoral scanner, we guarantee comfortable, precise impressions that contribute to the perfect fit and look of your crown or bridge. You’ll appreciate the lack of messy goop in your mouth!

At Hi-Tech Family Dentistry, we understand the impact a beautiful, functional smile can have on your life. Our team will guide you through every step of your journey toward a revitalized smile. From the moment you step into our clinic to the unveiling of your restored smile, you’ll have a compassionate, professional, and personalized experience.

Common Questions About Dental Crowns and Bridges

How long do dental crowns and bridges last?

The average dental crown or bridge will last for approximately five to seven years. However, your restoration may give you great performance for 10 years or longer if you maintain good oral hygiene and avoid eating foods that compromise it. We’ll be happy to provide instructions on keeping your crown or bridge fully functional for as long as possible.

Most dental insurance plans will cover at least a portion of your new dental crown or bridge. We can help you check the specifics of your individual policy to see what is covered and to determine how much of the cost you’ll be responsible for. We also offer third-party financing options through CareCredit.

Dental crowns and bridges can be used in a wide variety of ways to restore damaged and missing teeth. We can use a single crown for repairing a tooth or, with a dental implant, replacing a missing tooth. A bridge is designed to replace one or more missing teeth by anchoring to either your other teeth or dental implants.

If you have a cavity, you remove the cavity and then you place a filling material in there. You do that, it’ll last you, you know, 12, 15 years or so, and then it gets decay around it, you do another filling and it’s a little bigger. Each time you do that, a little larger, a little larger, there’s less tooth there. When you get to a point where you’re 80% filling, 20% tooth, the tooth’s so thin, it’s weak and it can break, or the filling’s so big, it can break. So that’s when you need something a little stronger. That’s when you need a crown. The crown, we take about two milliliters off the top of the tooth, about a millimeter off, all the way around, make a zirconia or gold, whatever you want, crown that fits on the tooth, it surrounds it, holds it together, makes it very strong. The zirconia now is the strongest metal, pretty much, so you don’t have to worry about it. You can have a white crown and still have the strength that you had with a gold crown in the past. The benefit of doing that is you don’t have to worry about that tooth breaking or fracturing off. The bridge is a way of filling in where you’ve had a tooth missing. There’s three different options for filling in the space. You can do a bridge where you’re basically doing a crown on the teeth on each side of the space, and then you put the three-unit bridge in there, or five-unit, or four-unit, whatever, however many teeth you’re missing, it fills in the space between those two with fake teeth that are glued, attached to the teeth on each side. They support the fake teeth, missing teeth in the middle. It’s glued on there, it’s in there, and you don’t remove it, and it fills in the hole and gives you something to chew with, keeps the teeth from moving on you anymore, and it replaces what you had lost.
